Aloha Mochi x Pualani started the way most good things do — a few friends, a long winter, and a shared craving for something they couldn't find in Anchorage.

One of us grew up making mochi with a grandmother on Oʻahu. Another spent years chasing the perfect bowl of matcha in Kyoto. When we finally landed in Alaska together, we realized the two things belonged in the same little room.

Aloha Mochi is our sweets side — soft, chewy, honest mochi pounded fresh most mornings, plus mochi donuts and rotating Hawaiian-inspired treats. Pualani (Hawaiian for "heavenly flower") is our matcha bar — ceremonial-grade tea from Uji, whisked to order, poured over house-made syrups.

We want to be Anchorage's matcha and mochi place. A warm bench when it's ten below. A little bit of the islands, right here at home.
